Gastech-ne Ltd provide your company (or you the individual) with the training and technique needed to become competent in torque tightening and tensioning of mechanical joint connectors using hydraulic and manual tooling.

Our training courses are technically detailed as well as safety conscious and are delivered to the latest ECITB industry standards by experienced trainers who have worked as hands on technicians/supervisors in the mechanical joint integrity industry.

ECITB Bolting Training Courses

Our bolting training courses are designed to instil the skill of a person who is trained to dismantle, inspect, prepare and assemble mechanical grip fittings on small bore tubing (SBT) systems. Find out more about bolting training today.

Mechanical Joint Integrity (TMJI) Training Courses

We provide the full range of mechanical joint integrity (MJI) courses to our clients and their employees across the UK. MJ 10, MJ 18 and MJ 19 training courses are available as 1-day courses or you can consolidate your MJI 10 / MJ 19 and MJ 10, MJ 18 and MJ 19 training into 1.5 and 2.5 day training courses, whichever suits you.

Small Bore Tubing (SBT) Training Courses

Our experienced trainers provide small bore tubing training courses which cover the assembly and installation of small bore tubing using twin ferrule mechanical grip fittings (SBT01) and small bore tubing with cone and threaded medium and high pressure modules (SBT02 / SBT03).

Our Trainers

Our trainers are time served in a mechanical discipline and hold PTLLS (teaching), TAQA (assessment/verification) and NEBOSH (health & safety) qualifications.

We use a varied range of products for demonstration and practical learning elements of our courses.

Gastech-ne Ltd also has experienced and competent engineering service technicians to provide clients with manpower to perform torque and/or tensioning operations onsite. They are ECITB qualified with many years’ experience in the mechanical joint integrity field working for some of the biggest names in the industry. Our trainers have worked as hands on technicians, supervisors and quality control assessors as part of new build, hook up, commissioning, shutdown and survey teams within the oil and gas, construction, power generation and chemical industries either in the UK or around the world.

These included projects in Angola, Nigeria, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Sicily, Norway, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the British Isles both on and offshore.

All our technicians have current BOSIET offshore survival, offshore medicals, offshore MIST and VANTAGE cards which allows for access to onshore sites and offshore installations.
